Synopsis: A short film about the work and research of Scott Groom, a South Australian scientist, and his nomination as a finalist for PhD Research Excellence in the South Australian Science Excellence Awards.
About This Project: This documentary was created for the Department of State Development and RiAus as part of the Science Excellence Awards. I travelled alone to Kyoto, Japan, for 10 days, where I filmed Scott Groom in his lab and in the forest. This project was an excellent test of my ability to be a self-sufficient solo filmmaker.
