Europe Part Two

Our flight from Hong Kong to London was the longest yet, 12.5 hours, but most of the time it was still light, so we got to see a good portion of the continent as we flew over, especially Mongolia, which was crazy-looking. Because we were flying with the sun, it was twilight for about 2 hours. As we flew over Holland, the clouds cleared and we got an absolutely spectacular view of the city lights!

So heathrow wasn’t nearly as horrific as I thought it might be, very “Warren-like” as dad put it, but otherwise fine. We had brunch in a really nice little place called the Tin Goose. And then wandered around the shops for a bit.
