About This Project: In Japanese poetry writing, there is a wonderful thing called “Kigo”. A Kigo is a word or phrase associated with a particular season, used to convey the sort of setting of your poem without wasting time saying “in the summer”.
I was thinking about Japanese summer Kigo and wondering how they would be different for where I live.
